Jazz Age Lawn Party

Every year on Governor's Island there is a 1920s jazz age lawn party. It is like a dream come true! I designed and made my own dress for the occasion.

 

With my lovely friends Melody (middle, made her own dress as well, so lovely!) and Cat.

Another Adventure to Dead Horse Bay

                                This up-rooted tree was full of old stockings and other antiquarian
                                 fabric delights, mangled and softened by the sea.

                                     Glass hair brush....or as my lovely friend said, 'mermaid's
                                     abandoned hair brush'

                                 .....And the tide comes in to hide all the bottles once again
